OUR MISSION
Rise Enlightened is building a community dedicated to raising awareness and education about religious abuse and trauma, while also providing support and healing for those impacted.
SUPPORT OUR MISSION
We hold the belief that our society, especially in a post-COVID world, has begun to move away from community. We are also inspired by others who saw this same need and began to reestablish community as a way to provide support to each other during such disconnection. This is why Rise Enlightened is built upon that same type of community establishment. Collaboration and connection with other people, organizations and agencies with a similar goal, in an effort to utilize each other’s strengths to increase the capacity to serve the community. Through trainings, group offerings, and connection to other community partners, Rise Enlightened seeks to foster the communal healing necessary for everyone to feel fully supported.

CARE FOR ALL
In our current climate of mental health, accessing services is tricky. With stigma going down and need going up, more people are reaching out for services yet, the availability is lacking, and waitlists are long. Insurance companies often limit a person’s access to care which can affect treatment outcomes. It can leave a client feeling like they are “unfixable” when in fact they just have not found the right clinician who is able to use the right approach to connect with them.
Rise Enlightened Inc is currently working towards a goal of raising $5,000. This will allow us to start our Mental Health Services Voucher Program. This program will allow those that choose Rise Enlightened as their service provider and are unable to pay for direct care services, to apply for funding vouchers that can supplement the cost of care. The direct service work provided by Rise Enlightened, Inc also supports the non-profit mission by contributing 35% of all of the income from mental health services to the mission of Rise Enlightened, Inc.

Rise Enlightened is actively seeking dedicated and passionate community members to join our Board of Directors for the 2024-2026 cycle. Rise Enlightened is committed to promoting trauma-informed, affirming mental healthcare, advancing mental health equity, and ensuring that all individuals receive the care they deserve. We believe that the input and expertise of mental health and non-mental health professionals are invaluable in driving our mission forward.
