OUR VOUCHER PROGRAM

SUPPORT FOR THE SURVIVOR AND THE PROVIDER

Mental health care should be about empowerment; empowering the client to have control over their care and empowering the provider to be able to decide what type of work balance is appropriate for them.  With current insurance restrictions, especially when treating trauma, clients are restricted on the type of care insurance will reimburse and waitlist times and turnover for community providers are high.  More providers are moving to self-pay to be able to reduce large client caseloads which lead to high impacts of secondary traumatic stress and burnout in providers.  For providers to do this we have to charge a high rate of care, less than a doctor but higher than a massage therapist, to have an appropriate client balance.  However, this can limit adequate care to very few and places the burden on the client who is already burdened enough.  

 The Voucher Program allows for a client to request a voucher amount to cover a portion of the session cost down to $10.  This allows for the provider to be able to maintain appropriate session fees, while taking the burden off of the client.  Providers that are contracted with Rise Enlightened will receive full reimbursement under the Voucher Program while Rise Enlightened employees still contribute 35% of session cost back to the organization.  

The Voucher Program will be an ongoing fundraising program for Rise Enlightened Inc. 

Our goal for launch of the program is $10,000.
